At first we were nervous about the prospect of buying property in Mexico. We research the laws, taxes, banks and property prices. We contacted three different realty offices in Barra de Navidad and Melaque. Alejandra was the timeliest and through realtor we had respond to our long distance requests. She was able to explain the role of the Notary in Mexico, the Bank Trusts and the realty laws as they pertained to Jalisco. She is also from the area, so she was able to steer us away from potentially bad areas, places that would not be a good cultural fit for our family and from sellers who had questionable reputations. I am not sure someone who was not from Barra de Navidad would have had those same insights. We are in constant communication with Alejandra a year later and she continues to amaze us with her dedication. I would highly recommend working with Alejandra Alvarado.
